Crewel work is an ancient form of embroidery using wool to create a  raised stitched relief on a linen background.  Click here for more details.

Every kit contains - step by step instructions; outline printed, specially woven Jacobean linen twill; booklet (The Essential Guide for Newcomers to Crewel Embroidery"); detailed stitch chart; numbered skeins of Appleton's two-ply wools; special crewel needle and full color brochure.

Depending on current stock at times of order we sometimes need to restock from the UK to meet orders.  This can delay delivery up to eight weeks from time of order.  We will keep you informed during this time.  E-mail to enquire on availability of specific kits. 

Cushions, frames or other project components shown in some illustrations but not listed above are not included in kit.
