The reverse side of the King's throne shows warriors; the Queen's throne ladies in waiting; and the Bishop's throne holy men & musicians. The Rook shows the beginnings of the introduction of the castle into early European chess. The king is approx 105 mm (4.1") tall and a full set requires approx 3 kg of cement. |
