Historical Figure Brass Rubbing Pictures

Brass Rubbing is a medieval art form where a sheet of paper is stretched across the brass plates commonly found on tombs and churches in Europe, and an impression taken using special hard waxes. Our brasses are certified reproductions of these original brasses which we import specially from England. All rubbings are available on white paper and most on black paper using waxes of various colors. Some are available in multicolor (several wax colors) and King Robert the Bruce is available fully matted and framed.
